A very rainy Halloween

This was the first year that Annie really understood what Halloween was all about; the Trick or Treating! She was so excited to get dressed up in her princess dress and go out and get lots of candy. The weather forecast was pretty grim, calling for rain right during trick or treating hours so I decided we would head out early and beat the rain. There was just a very light sprinkle for the first 5 or 6 houses and very soon that light sprinkle turned into a downpour. Luckily I had thought to take our umbrellas and a cell phone. I called Nathen and he came and rescued us. We hit a couple more houses then headed home. I am so glad that Annie was satisfied with her candy haul and was ready to go home! All in all it turned out to be a fun and memorable Halloween.
