Sara and Kason had their second little girl, Olivia, on October 11th. Annie and I were lucky enough to be able to fly up to Seattle and meet the little cutie. I was a little bit nervous about how Annie would treat the little one since it had been a while since she'd been around a tiny baby. She was so good with Olivia! I was so impressed with how well she held and took care of the baby. She was careful and gentle. My little girl is getting so big! We had a lot of fun with the McArthur's while in Seattle. We went to Point Defiance and built sand castles, Pike's Place Fish Market downtown, the Space Noodle (of course), and we visited the grounds of the Seattle Temple which were absolutely gorgeous. The Seattl

e temple grounds have these little forests with pathways through them which of course the girls loved walking through. Oh, and something hilarious that I just have to share: we told the girls that we were going to go visit the Fish Market and they were SO EXCITED! I was a little perplexed by their excitement. I thought they would kind of comp

lain about this since it is a lot like a big boring mall for little kids. So we get to the fish market and I point out the fish for sale to Annie. She was quite disappointed. A few minutes later as we were walking around the market Annie asked me, "Mom, can we go see some fish that swim?" Ha ha ha... I'm still laughing about that. Annie and Zoe thought we were going to the aquarium to see live swimming fish, not the market where there's just a bunch of dead smelly fish for sale.
