So since it was such a beautiful day outside I just had to get out of the house. I had heard that the Salt Lake City Library was quite the place so I decided I would take Annie and go check it out. The architecture was very impressive and Annie especially liked the glass elevators. We went to the kids section to see if there was anything super exciting and we found these really neat purple giraffes. There was a little area called, "The Attic" where kids could sit and read, but mostly they just ran around and played, Annie included.

New Years Day Fun
On New Years Day I had had about enough of taking down Christmas decorations, football, and cleaning. So I decided that we would take Annie tubing. We called my family and had them come along too. We went to a park near our home which has a great hill. Annie absolutely loved it. She thought she was so big when she was able to go down all by herself. She even went on her belly. In fact, after going by herself she didn't really want anyone else to come along with her.
In the second picture she is riding with my dad, Grandpa Allen, in our really old sled. One of my many favorite childhood memories was going sledding with my dad in that very sled. The bottom is pretty much worn smooth now so you can get a pretty wild ride. We had a great time that day and hope that we can get some more snow this winter so we can go again.

ho ho ho...
I have to laugh at this picture. Not just because none of us are looking at the same camera or because Nathen's hair is doing something strange, but because Santa looks like he has had a bit too much egg nog. This was the first Christmas that Annie really understood what was going on. She got out the Toys R Us ad and decided that she wanted "Woody, Buzz, Jessie, and Bullseye Wii". (A Toy Story game for the Wii). So that is exactly what she asked Santa for again and again. And yes, Santa brought her the game. She was excited to be able to visit with Santa this year and sing Jingle Bells over and over. It was a great Christmas for our family.
Princess Annie
Annie is our little princess. She loves anything to do with princesses. She dresses up in her crown and high heels and prances around the house. Annie loves to paint with her watercolors and watch Scooby-Doo. She just became a Sunbeam and so far has really enjoyed it. However, she misses playing with her nursery friends and having snacktime.
Hello Everybody!
So I've decided to finally start a blog. I hope that it won't bore the pants off everyone. Mostly I am starting it so that we can create a family history. So check back with us occasionally and we will hopefully have some new posts.
