SLC Library

So since it was such a beautiful day outside I just had to get out of the house. I had heard that the Salt Lake City Library was quite the place so I decided I would take Annie and go check it out. The architecture was very impressive and Annie especially liked the glass elevators. We went to the kids section to see if there was anything super exciting and we found these really neat purple giraffes. There was a little area called, "The Attic" where kids could sit and read, but mostly they just ran around and played, Annie included. Mostly I wanted to go up to the rooftop terrace so we could have a fantastic view of the city, but it was closed! Needless to say, I was very disappointed. Not only would we have a fantastic view, but that is where Phil Koeghan greeted racers on the Family season of The Amazing Race.

Annie's super photogenic, what a great kid. When Sara and I went to the SLCLibrary we got to ride on the glass elevator with a psycho homeless dude! He was really nice and smelly. That library is gorgeous.

It is very gorgeous. However, there really are a lot of homeless people there. I guess it's a good place for them to go and stay warm.
