A lot has happened since our last posts. Our babies have grown and changed. We've moved to a new home and are learning to negotiate three toddlers. So a quick update on the last year... In May of 2013 we moved from our home in West Valley to a home in West Jordan. We lived with my mom and dad for about ten weeks between homes. This was very interesting because all six of us were in a bedroom in the basement. :) We bought a home just a couple of houses away from my mom and dad which has been a huge life saver. It is so nice to know that they are a short walk away should I need them. The girls have grown and changed so much. They are all doing well and are healthy and strong. There are a lot of pictures to share so here you go!

| This was Easter 2013. They looked so cute in their elf hats! |
| This is one of the first times that they really played together. |
| Makayla and daddy. Makayla is our wild child. She loves to dance and have fun. She has her own little language. Her First words were mom and dad of course, followed by "ball". She started walking at 12 months. She has always had a very dramatic cry which can be very high pitched and loud! |
| Katelyn. She is always smiling except for when she's not. : ) She is still by far the smallest of the triplets. At our 15 month check up she weighed in at only 16 lbs. She loves to play and chase and squeal. Right now she is copying everything her sisters do. She started walking at 13 1/2 months. Her first words were mom and dad and now she can say M&M. M&M's are her favorite treat. She has a sweet tooth and is a very sweet little girl. |
| Lily (in blue) and Makayla. Lily is our sensitive baby. She can be very shy. She loves to take care of others. When she was just a newborn if one of her sisters would cry she would look around trying to see what was going on. Now she tries to feed her sisters and wash them up in the bathtub. Yesterday Katelyn was upset and she patted her softly on the head obviously concerned about her sister. She started walking at 11 months and her first words were mom and dad as well. She is our chatterbox. She is always talking in her own little language but is learning new words all the time. Her first word after mom and dad was "church". Now she can say "clock" and "eggs". I love listening to her talk. She was also the first to fold her arms. |
| Moving day in May. Our little house in West Valley was a good house, but it was little for sure. We lived there for 4 years and put lots and lots of work into it. It paid off though, literally. With all that hard work we were able to have a down payment for our new home. |
| We took the girls to the school carnival and Jordan Hills Elementary, Annie's new school. |
| Annie really wanted to try the rock wall at the school carnival. This is about as high as she got, but I am proud of her for trying! |
| This is the triplet's favorite mode of transportation. Our triplet wagon has been such a life saver. We did not invest in a triplet stroller because of the enormous cost and because the stroller itself is enormous. This wagon works great and we take it everywhere, even to the store. The triplets' favorite time of day is when they get to go for a walk in their wagon. |
| Swimming! Don't they look adorable in matching swimsuits? |
| This was while we were living with my mom and dad through the summer. Katelyn wasn't quite sitting up on her own yet. |
| They loved the Price is Right at this time. They still enjoy it but are too busy to sit down and watch. Their favorite shows right now are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and a video my sister made of our cruise several years ago. It has music to the pictures and the girls LOVE it! |
| Makayla and Lily's first picnic in the canyon. Katelyn and Nathen were both sick this day and had to stay home. |
| I had been working on painting our new house during the summer and came home one night to find this. My brother, Tyler and his wife, Stacy also lived with my mom and dad last summer and helped out with the babies. What troopers! I think Tyler was a little grossed out feeding the kiddos. |
| This is my niece, Olivia. She set up a tea party for the triplets and they loved it! Olivia loves playing with the girls and for that I am happy because it keeps them entertained for a minute. |
| Moving day!!! We moved in to our new house on August 1st. We are so grateful to have this wonderful home to raise our kids in. |
| We took the girls to the state fair in September. Nathen really wanted to take them on the big yellow slide. All but Lily enjoyed it. The picture above is Nathen with Makayla who laughed on the way down. |
| Annie turned 7 in September! I can't believe it. She has been so good through all this triplet stuff. She is still a big help to me and I love her so much! |
| Playing on the stairs. Our house has lots and lots of stairs so it was imperative that the girls quickly learn how to do stairs. They all picked it up pretty fast with a few tumbles of course. Now Lily and Makayla are trying to walk up and down the stairs like big people so I am nervous once again. |
| Lily falls asleep at the dinner table all the time!!! Crazy kid. |
| If I leave the pantry door open the girls waste no time in ripping everything out. I have recently rearranged it so there isn't as much to destroy and I'm better at keeping it shut, but smart little Katelyn has figured out how to open it! Argh! |
| In October we took them to a pumpkin patch and we received lots of comments about our babies and wagon! |
| They found the coke. |
| Halloween. Little Bo Peep and her sheep. Isn't this so cute??? I have to give credit to Nathen since he thought up the idea. I just found the costumes online. They won the costume contest at the Smith's near our home and we got a $25 gift card. Woo Hoo! |
| 1st birthday. It is my birthday, too so we had four cakes. Pretty crazy. It wasn't bad sharing a birthday with my kids, but it was the first one so we'll see how it goes. :) |
| Happy Birthday to you! |
| My sister, Sara and the triplets. Makayla is on the left, Katelyn in the middle and Lily on the right. |
| Lily and Makayla are identical twins. This is first thing in the morning and as you can see, they aren't morning people. Lily is on the left and Makayla on the right. |
| I did bundle them up a couple of times in the winter and take them out. It is hard to be stuck inside all winter. They loved going out! |
| Getting ready to go bye-bye. |
| Makayla is on the left and wasn't too fond of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Oh well. We got a cute picture. Annie had matching pajamas like these for Christmas. Did I get all four of them in a picture with their matching pajamas? Of course not. |
| Nathen's Grandma and Grandpa Noyes gave these rocking chairs to the girls for Christmas. I nearly cried when they brought them out and gave them to the girls. They are so cute. My sister and I had our own little rocking chairs when we were little so this was a very special gift. |
Lily enjoying a book in her chair.
I know I kind of stopped at Christmas, but I will try and get more updates soon.
