Our Annual Sledding Expedition

We were hoping for it to snow sometime between Christmas and New Years so we could take our niece, Zoe, sledding. My sister and her husband Kason moved to Seattle a little over a year ago and so Zoe doesn't have much of a chance to do that at home. We lucked out and got quite a bit of snow the day or so after Christmas. So we loaded up the tubes, sleds and Big Blue and headed to the sledding hill. (Big Blue is Nathen's huge, puffy, blue coat that my sister borrowed because she didn't have a proper sledding coat.) It was so COLD that day, but we had so much fun. Annie and Zoe had fun barrelling down the hill in our old plastic sled together until they had a big crash that planted Annie's face in the snow. After that they weren't such big fans of going down on the sled together. Once we were thoroughly frozen we headed home to get ready for a yummy dinner at Red Robin (or Batman and Robin as Annie calls it) that night with my mom and dad. It was a very fun day.
